Herman Peak should be a natural follow-on activation with Cape Mountain (W7O/CC-071).  The Herman Peak Cape Rd goes to Cape Mountain, and then on over to Herman Peak.  Cape Mountain is a lovely little summit.

The problem is that Herman Peak contains an off limits RF faciity.  The gate and sign definitely make this clear.  I looked around but could find no other route onto the summit that would be permitted. So, W7O/CC-041 should go onto the waiting queue until someone could get a waiver to visit. Perhaps  from the agency listed on the "keep out" sign, Siuslaw Valley Fire and Rescue.
