Rattlesnake Mtn is part of King County's "Big Backyard" series of  hikes.  There is a trail head at the northwest end of the mountain at Snoqualmie Point and at the southeast end at Rattlesnake Lake.  Walking from TH to TH is about 11 miles.  We took the RS Lake route which is 4.3 miles and gains ~2500 ft to the summit.

Pinnacle Peak W7W/KG-126 – 2 points - May 9, 2013

This seemingly easy-peasy 2 point summit is right in my big backyard.  The trailhead is about a mile from the Enumclaw Starbucks.   Buzzed out on coffee the popular trailhead was found on the north side of Cal Manussun Park which is part of the King County (WA) parks system.  Myself, Pat WT7N, and her brother Mike set out to have a nice walk in the woods.

This is a well-used, highly-trafficed trail.  There is plenty of parking, but you may want to get to the trailhead early as the parking lot does fill up.  There are restroom facilities at the trailhead, but they may be seasonally open.  The summit has a hand rail that can be used for antenna guy lines.
