SOTA Activities
Semi-retired now and have more time to play ham radio while on mountaintops. I've been on hundreds of radio sites while working in Alaska, Arizona, California, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Wyoming since 1979. Figured it was about time to slowdown a little, brings some extra radio gear and make some SOTA contacts while taking in the views.
Present goal is to activate restricted SOTA summits that have collocated radio sites that I either have access to or know someone that does in order to gain approval.

Enjoy mountaintops for both recreation and as a career in public safety/commercial Land Mobile Radio and microwave technical services business. Driving, hiking, snowcating or riding a helicopter to mountaintops never gets old!
