SOTA Activities
My typical rig for this is an Elecraft KX2, and antenna is usually a wire thrown into a tree with a single counterpoise, or an AlexLoop. I have activated quite a few summits in Oklahoma, and a few in my present home state of Maine.
Bio
I presently live in Camden, Maine. Before that in Oklahoma. I have been activating for a few years now, on the slow road to Mountain Goat. When I travel for whatever reason, I consider nearby peaks for a SOTA activation.
